This year for the 5th awards, there will not be a nomination process. The Think Make Live Youth Board of Directors and Social Justice Committee will make the selection. The team will make the announcement of the 2024 Social Justice Awards recipients by the end of April 2024.

Salute to powerful Social Justice Leadership in Franklin County, Acknowledgement to past award recipients and Special Recognition families who have been affected by the loss of a loved one due to Gun Violence.

Honoring Outstanding Youth-Serving Social Justice Leadership in:

Community Service
  • Community Leaders, Community Organizers, Youth Workers, and Spiritual Leaders who support or mentor youth
  • Organizations to nominate for this award; Non-profit Organizations, Churches, Sports, and Arts Groups that provide services or programs for youth
 
Education Advocacy:
  • Public School Teachers, College Professors, Public School Administrators, and Public School Tutors
  • Public Schools, Alternative Schools, After-School Programs, Universities, Student Organizations

 

Law Enforcement:
  • Police and Correctional Officers who support or mentor youth
  • Law Enforcement Agencies, Law Enforcement Precincts, and Professional Law Enforcement Associations that provide services or programs for youth
 
Legal Advocacy:
  • Lawyers, Judges, Prosecutors, Paralegals, and Probation Officers who support or mentor youth
  • Law Firms, Courts, Legal Service Agencies, Legal Clinics and Probation Departments that provide services or programs for youth
 
Public Service:
  • Local and State Elected Officials who support or mentor youth
  • Government Agencies and Public Sector Agencies that provide service or programs for youth
 
Healthcare:
  • Doctors, Nurses, Physicians, and First Responder Health workers who support or mentor youth
